Hanging plants: our original ideas for planting

Many preconceived ideas should be reviewed concerning drooping plants, in particular to use the eternal macrame to give them effect. At Paris Pousse we are aware of this, so the choice of hanging them is left to your discretion. So now there are wall or ceiling suspensions of the most design, adding color if necessary. What bring to your interior a touch of modernity, even a little warmth and originality.

    hanging plants, plant decoration

    Hanging plants, an original idea:

You can very well create, with such plants, a mini tropical garden indoors! Very practical for those who lack space on the floor, they can decorate a wall as well as accessorize a place where they will not obstruct the passage . It is a veritable cascade of " intramural " plants , which you will certainly not fail to praise to anyone who seems surprised at such a judicious choice. A panache even let's say it, which is likely to leave more than one baba.

    Which ones to choose?

You will find several of them on the Paris Pousse website, in particular Lou , a Monstera obliqua of great beauty in its cork pot. Zoe is the drooping green plant par excellence, an Aschynanthus sold in a terracotta pot supported by macrame. Lisa, on the other hand, is succulent, her light green foliage highlighted in a cork pot matching the rope in your beige-brown. Concerning Ines , a philodendron & terracotta pot, it is indifferently whether it is offered with or without macrame.

    Outdoor plants:

Regarding the latter, the choice is more limited, those who adopt them generally prefer flowers in pots or planters. Nevertheless, some get their dose of success like Chloé , a beautiful tricolor Tradescantia. The title Albi Flora is added to it because it is a rare plant, which has foliage worthy of being sketched by the greatest painters. Its variegation oscillates between pink and green, displaying tiny immaculate flowers in the spring.

    How to suspend them?

The best known technique is of course the hook , which is fixed to the ceiling at the risk of damaging it. Another is to rivet them to the wall, where the risks are less obvious. In one case as in the other, in case of movement of the plant, a little filler and you're done. But there are other ways to do this, by arranging them harmoniously on a rack or a wall trellis for example. By taking a position on an existing support, such as a shelf, a beam, a piece of furniture or a balustrade... you kill two birds with one stone!

Small bonus: the suspensions are perfect for those who house cats at home;)
