Paris Pousse replants its Christmas trees in the Rambouillet forest

January, the end-of-year celebrations are over, it's already time to remove the decoration from your tree. Once the garlands are put away, the conifer becomes cumbersome. After Christmas , we don't all know how to give a second life to our tree . But at Paris Pousse, we are Landscapers, and this issue speaks to us...

This is also why we offer a Christmas tree offer every year with the "return of the tree" option.

    • For those who had taken this option on our log trees , we crushed them to make mulch and thus protect our soil after planting on our sites.
    • For those who had taken this option on potted fir trees... we find them a new habitat.

And this year, to complete this virtuous circle, we shared our "Christmas tree recycling" operation with an association: l' Arche in Paris , which supports adults with mental disabilities in their daily lives.

Accompaniment in L'Arche is based on relationships of exchange and mutual recognition. It aims to implement the possibility for everyone to be part of and to contribute . It seeks to promote self-fulfillment and autonomy, and therefore self-esteem, and to combine the personal achievement of each individual with a collective project .

They offer a community life, and it is in this context that our fir tree repotting day took place in Bullions, more precisely in the woods of La Martinière , (we thank Pierre and Marie-Axelle for their welcome).

Friday, January 8, the weather was ours, it was very cold but a beautiful blue sky, a few rays of sunshine came to light up our day from time to time.

At first our group was a little shy, we quickly learned to get to know each other, to discuss our gardener outfits, the nature that surrounds us, the history of the forest...

Then came the time, after a short 15-minute walk, to repot our trees.
