Realization of a green wall at Roland Garros

The official supplier of Roland Garros , Hesperide , called on us to create a green wall.

The brief

The team had a precise idea of ​​what they wanted: a rather sober vegetal photocall , rather in green tones and without flowers (or dried flowers).

The objective of this wall was to frame and sublimate the Hesperide logo. It therefore had to be placed in the center of the plant frame and stand out in the middle of the plants.

The logo measured 2588 x 551mm and was backlit PVC on a 400mm spacer. We had at our disposal a wall of 3 x 4.2m to vegetate in its entirety. Prepared upstream, it would therefore be covered with 4 panels each measuring 1.5 x 2.1 m, made up of a mix of artificial and stabilized.

The realization

We went there, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, on May 10 to install the wall. This had been prepared beforehand, so that we only had to finish it once on the ground, and thus save time.

In order to meet the customer's request, on site, we proceeded to cut out the center of the green wall to further emphasize the logo. Indeed, the wall being quite dark and dense, it was better to remove part of it to leave a white wall in the background. In this way, the backlight could stand out perfectly.

Roland Garros being extremely regulated, the green wall had to be composed exclusively of materials of category C-s3, d0 or M2. This is why we have fireproofed the entire green wall.

Plant rental for your events

The Hesperide team also wanted to rent plants from us for other spaces, including their dressing room located in the vip village and on the general public stand.
