Where do our Christmas trees come from?

Finally comes the time of Christmas, where December rhymes with gifts for young and old but also “my beautiful Christmas tree ” . And with ecological news in full debate, it seemed wise to us to know a little more about our King of the forests.  

Many people, to be able to preserve it from one year to the next , choose a tree with roots to replant . Let us be satisfied with our home which , for lack of having the chance to have a garden, has the greatest of virtues: It is to be our home! So if you can't keep it , choose a variety that benefits from the France label ( like our trees 🤓)
it is to guarantee producers to associate themselves with their joint conduct . Prefer sectors that are certified in sustainable crops , whose trees are raised with all the respect due to nature.

For the unconditional followers the choice can prove to be problematic , especially since it is a question of attacking the lungs of the earth, in this case the forests . Many believe that nothing beats the smell and appearance of a natural tree , but are blocked in their approach by all that is told to us on deforestation . Do not forget that each cut Christmas tree is, at any good self-respecting producer , replaced almost on the hour. Growing time is not a problem, it's a question of balance to be respected, a bit like one cog replacing the other.  

Let's not forget that fir trees are real carbon sinks! For a tree of one meter fifty, the experts estimate that 3 kilos of CO2 are subtracted from atmospheric pollution . So have no fear, opting for a natural Christmas tree will have no negative impact on the climate , quite the contrary! During their growth, and this until their maturity, they delight in the dioxide as we would a candy. You take a worry! The next one that will grow will store this carbon responsible in part for the greenhouse effect.
