Our top tips for your plants to have a great holiday (at home)

Going out in the sun without them? Do you want to find them alive when you return? Make sure they have everything they need to have a great vacation too!

Place them in islands. Together we are stronger! The proximity of the plants to each other allows them to maintain a better level of hydration.

Focus on capillarity. A tip from Sioux, but effective if the plants require a lot of water and/or you leave for a (very) long time. Run a thread (big anyway, kind of wool) between a large basin (over-elevated) and each of the pots. Maintaining the plant's humidity level will be done until the source is exhausted.

Think of solid water! If it exists... it's called gelled water . It comes in the form of a small sausage, and it is placed at the foot of the plant directly placed on the surface of the earth (previously lacerated to let the diffusion take place continuously).

Bury a water supply. An ancestral method which consists of placing a jar in the ground (or in a pot for that matter), which by its porosity allows diffuse hydration and maintains the correct humidity level of the earth on the covered perimeter.

Mulch your plants . With a layer of plant fibers , placed on the surface of the planting which helps maintain freshness and humidity in the soil.
